Diversified programs, the special atmosphere of the ensemble as well as the quality of the musicians themselves result in harmony, virtuosity and the sheer joy of playing. The members of German Strings, some of whom have known each other since their studying days and from concert tours in various select orchestras, are leading members of such great German orchestras as the Dresden State Orchestra, the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Orchestras of the Komische Oper and the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, the Hamburg State Opera Orchestra, and the NDR North German Radio Orchestra in Hamburg, among others. Playing the works of Henri Tomasi, German Strings have made guest appearances at several French festivals; among them "La Chaise Dieu", "Flûte-hautbois en Livradois" and "Rencontres Musicales en Loire".
